Overview

AmzSync is a Chrome browser extension that scrapes publicly available product data from Amazon websites and imports it into the user's own WooCommerce store. We designed AmzSync to collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what data the extension handles and where it goes.

Data stored on your device

The following information is stored only in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) and never leaves your device unless explicitly described below:

• Your WooCommerce store URL and API credentials (Consumer Key / Consumer Secret)
• Your scraping and import preferences (e.g. publish or save as draft)
• Product data you have scraped, until you clear it
• Your license key and an anonymous device identifier (Pro users)

License verification (Pro users)

If you activate a Pro license, the extension sends your license key and an anonymous, randomly generated device identifier to our license server solely to verify your subscription and enforce the plan's usage quota. This identifier contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or payment details (payments are handled by our payment processor)
• We do not receive or store your WooCommerce API credentials
• We do not track your browsing history or the Amazon pages you visit
• We do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers

Third-party services

• Amazon websites — the extension fetches product pages you explicitly open, subject to Amazon's own terms.
• Your WooCommerce store — the extension sends product data directly from your browser to the store URL you configure, via the official WooCommerce REST API.
• Payment processor — purchases of the Pro plan are handled by our Merchant of Record, which processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

Your data and your rights

Because all extension data lives in your browser, you retain full control. Uninstalling AmzSync (or clearing the extension's storage) permanently deletes your store credentials, scraped data and settings from your device. Nothing is retained on our servers to delete afterward, apart from Pro license records, which you can request to be removed by contacting us.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and publish the revised version on this page.
